Meatball Bruschetta

The perfect appetizer or light bite! This meatball bruschetta recipe is so easy to make and tastes like it took all day!

Yields 4 bruchettas.

Ingredients

  • 1 16oz package of Mama Mancini’s Beef Meatballs
  • 2–6-inch loaves of Italian bread – sliced in half lengthwise
  • Fresh basil – about 10 leaves
  • 8oz fresh mozzarella or provolone
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Directions

Heat the meatballs and sauce in a skillet per directions on pack.

Add the meatballs and sauce to a bowl and crush them with a fork.

Layer the cheese on the bread (sliced lengthwise) and place the bread under the broiler until cheese is melted.

Once the cheese is melted, remove bread from the oven and spoon the crushed meatballs and sauce on top.

Top with the basil and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Slice bruschetta into individual servings and plate.
