I can’t begin to tell you how absolutely delicious this recipe is, and it comes together in one pot – who does it love that! To make it even easier we are using our Mama Mancini’s Traditional Italian Tomato Sauce.

Mama Mancini’s Broccoli Rabe with Cannellini Beans
Ingredients
- The leaves of one head of broccoli rabe
- 1-can of Cannellini beans, rinsed (10-12 oz can)
- 4-garlic cloves sliced
- 1-24 oz Jar of MAMA MANCINI’S traditional tomato sauce
- Extra virgin olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 1/2-tsp red chili flakes
- Water
- Day old Italian bread
- Freshly grated pecorino Romano cheese
Directions

Add 1/4 cup olive oil, garlic and chili flakes to a large pot. Heat to low and allow the garlic to infuse the oil.

When the oil begins to turn golden, add the Mama Mancini’s Sauce. Rinse the jar with 1/2 cup of water and add that to the pot.

Bring this to a boil and let this cook together for 5 minutes.

Add the Cannellini beans, 1 tsp salt, broccoli rabe leaves to the pot. Cover the pot and turn the heat down to low.

After 5 minutes, fold everything together. Keep on low heat, uncovered.

Fold together a couple of times for 10 more minutes, and then remove from heat.

Put some day-old bread pieces in a bowl and top with the broccoli rabe and beans. Finish with a nice drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and grated cheese.
