Meatball Sub Station for Super Bowl Sunday
Everyone LOVES meatballs and this is a perfect way to set up a self serve station that everyone will love! If you can pick up some of my Mama Mancini Meatballs and Sauce, this sub station will be a complete breeze to put together!
Heat up a pot of Meatballs and Sauce and place the pot on a heat resistant surface and next to it place some hoagie or slider rolls and all the toppings! I have made this before and everyone loved these toppings.
Toppings:
- Shredded provolone
- Ricotta cheese
- Sliced fresh mozzarella
- Grated pecorino romano cheese
- Italian long hot peppers chopped
- Grilled eggplant slices
- Sauté broccoli di rabe with garlic
- crushed red pepper flakes
