Pasta and Peas with Marinara Sauce

Pasta and sauce is quite possibly the easiest dish to spruce up. Few people know this culinary secret, which is unfortunate, because there are so many great ways to make spaghetti and sauce memorable. Adding just one vegetable to this meal can not only enhance the already great taste, but also provides that burst of color that makes your 15-minute meal preparation look like the work of a gourmet chef.

Ingredients

– ¾ box spaghetti

– 2 tbs olive oil (divided)

– half onion (julienned)

– 1 container Mama Mancini’s Marinara Sauce

– 1 bag frozen peas, thawed
