Halloween Meatball Recipe: Eyeballs and Worms

Halloween is the best (and possibly the only) time of the year for playing with your food. “Spaghetti and meatballs” is the perfect dish for tricking—and treating your guests. Here is a creative Halloween recipe that is sure to spook the company. They wont believe their eyes!

Ingredients:

1 box Mama Mancini’s Meatballs and Slow Cooked Italian Sauce

1 container small mozzarella cheese balls

1 small jar sliced black olives 1 package black pasta (usually found in gourmet market, made with squid ink)

Directions:

Boil water. Place pasta into boiling water and cook until al dente (check package but this usually takes about 7 minutes). Strain pasta and set aside.

Prepare Mama Mancini’s meatballs according to package directions. Drizzle marinara sauce over cooked pasta.

Slice meatballs in half so that they lay flat. Slice mozzarella cheese balls in half. Place one sliced black olive on top of each mozzarella slice. Place one mozzarella slice (with olive) on top of each meatball.

Serve meatball atop black pasta for a creative eyeball and worms appearance!
