Stuffed Peppers Recipe with MamaMancini’s Meatballs
A simple way to make delicious stuffed peppers in minutes using Mama Mancini’s Meatballs in Sauce.
You’ll need:
- 1 pouch of Mama Mancini’s meatballs in sauce, thawed
- 1 cup white rice, prepared
- 4 bell peppers
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Romano or parmesan cheese
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Remove the tops of the peppers and clean all the seeds.
- Place the peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes.
- Carefully remove them and allow them to drain on a plate, open side down.
- In a bowl, crush the meatballs into the sauce, then mix in the cooked rice, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella, and Romano cheese.
- Stuff the peppers and top with the remaining cup of mozzarella cheese, then put them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove and let rest for 5 minutes.
