Potatoes on the Grill
First of all I am a French Fry maniac, I could eat them every day of the week! Here is my recipe for Grilling the Potato and let me tell you them come out great!
You’ll need:
- Russet potatoes
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil
Directions:
- Slice the potatoes into thin slices 1/4″-1/2″ thick
- Place the slices in a large bowl of cold salted water for at least 15 min (30 would be better this will remove some of the starch on the potatoes)
- Rinse them under cold water and lay them out on paper or kitchen towels and dry them
- Get your grill hot
- Brush a little olive oil on both sides of the potatoes and add some salt, pepper, or any spice or herb you like and then grill them
- You’ll want to turn them when they are completely browned and done and then do the same to the other side
If I added another flavor it would be some cayenne pepper… just saying.
