Meatball Baked Ziti
I think we have been doing it wrong all these years! This time I used a loaf pan to make a meatball baked Ziti
You’ll need:
- 1/2-lb ziti cooked 2-min short of recommended time
- 8-oz ricotta
- 4-meatballs sliced (4- slicer per meatball)
- 2-cups of sauce
- 2-cups shredded mozzarella
- 1/2-cup pecorino cheese
Directions:
- Mix the ziti with the ricotta cheese, 1/2 of the Romano and 1/2 of the mozzarella, 1-1/2 cups of the sauce.
- Put a layer of the ziti in the pan then 4-slices of meatball. Continue layering and placing meatballs.
- Top with remaining sauce, mozzarella and Romano cheese
- Place in a pre-heated 350′ degree oven for 30-45 minutes until bubbling and cheese it beautifully melted.
