Marinated London Broil
My marinade London Broil is a great way to enjoy a delicious dinner without breaking the bank. Allowing the meat to marinade for 24 hours will make it tender and delicious. I grilled mine and served it with some baked potatoes. Cooking this London broil in the oven is just as good, maybe better. The ingredients are pretty simple.
You’ll need:
- 6 garlic cloves crushed
- 1/2 cup of olive oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups of a dry red wine
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbs dry basil
Directions:
- Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend everything together.
- Put the marinade in a large zip lock bag, place the London broil in the bag and refrigerate for 24 hours.
- I used a hot charcoal grill and cook to a medium. Or you can place everything in a baking dish and cook in a 400 degree oven until done to your liking.
- Always let the meat sit for 10 minutes before slicing.
This is great for dinner tomorrow and the leftovers are perfect for sandwiches or over a salad.
