Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

I love a grilled portobello, and this recipe is simple and delicious. Next, what to do with it once you grilled it? Slice and eat it just the way it is, slice and use on a salad or use it the way you would a burger on a bun with all the condiments. Tonight I had my portobello sliced, and it was delicious. You gotta try this.

You’ll need:

  • 2 Portobello mushroom caps
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp crack black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 5 basil leaves minced

Directions:

  1. Mix the ingredients together and let sit for 30 minutes
  2. Heat the grill to medium and brush the mushroom cap with the oil then with the underside up brush and add the mixture like the photo
  3. Allow the caps to grill for 5 minutes turn the heat to high then flip the caps and finish grilling for a couple minutes till done

I LOVE THESE.
