Grilled Unbreaded Chicken Parmigiana
The Grandmas approve. Tonight we are going to make a grilled chicken cutlet parm. I am going to assemble this chicken parm a way that works much better than the traditional way. I am gonna make a un breaded version, but this technique works incredibly well with breaded cutlets. Once you try it this way, you will never make the old way.
I am using grilled cutlets but make no mistake I love a breaded cutlet. Preparing the parm this way will leave you with the perfect chicken parm every time!
Ingredients:
- Grilled or breaded fried chicken cutlets
- Mozzarella cheese
- Grated Romano cheese
- MamaMancini’s marinara or your sauce.
Directions:
- First, finish your cutlets the way you prefer, breaded/fried or plain grilled.
- Then instead of baking it with the cheese and sauce which results in overdone soggy chicken Parm, try this: Put the finished cutlets on a baking sheet and place your mozzarella cheese on top then put them into a preheated 400 degree oven just till the cheese melts a min or two then plate and top with hot tomato sauce and some grated Romano.
Chicken parm perfect every time. I served mine with a little pasta and a green veg as that’s the way my grandmother always served it. Give it a try next time. The grilled chicken parm came out great and, from start to finish, is done in just 20 minutes and that includes grilling the chicken. Oh, I did use my Mama Mancini marinara sauce!
