Chicken and Sage Dish
I had sage left over so I added it to a chicken dish. The problem with buying fresh herbs for a recipe is you always have some left. Use them.
You’ll need:
- 10-Garlic cloves smashed
- 1-red onion chopped
First:
- Place the chicken seasoned with salt and pepper on top onto a baking sheet with olive oil drizzled on it.
- Drizzled olive oil on the chicken.
- Topped the chicken with more onion, garlic and the chopped sage.
Then:
- Put this into a pre heated 350 degree oven until your thermometer reads 170.
- Take the chicken out and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Remove the chicken and add all the drippings, garlic, onion and sage to a small skillet with some white wine and a little butter and reduce it down for a few minutes.
- Serve this on the chicken and my sage was used up and the chicken was amazing.
