Cast Iron Skillet Turkey Burgers Recipe
You’ll need:
- 1 lb of ground turkey- I use all-white meat
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Salt and pepper for seasoning the patties
- Olive oil
Directions:
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Form the burgers and season with salt and pepper, brush olive oil on them.
- Preheat a cast iron skillet for 5 minutes on a high heat, then add the burgers and turn the heat to medium.
- Let them cook for 5 minutes before flipping. Don’t touch them during the 5 minutes.
- When both sides are cooked, remove from pan.
- Serve on a bun with your favorite toppings or just by themselves with a fresh salad.
