MamaMancini’s Cannoli Cream Cups
Lately, I’ve been craving the perfect dessert—something light and a bit nostalgic. I remembered how my mom used to make these delicious, bite-sized cannoli cups when I was younger. I would stand in the kitchen and eat up to five in one sitting! MamaMancini’s cannoli cream cups are the perfect solution when you want a quick and easy dessert that takes just minutes to prepare. They’re a fun twist on the classic Italian cannoli. These mini treats are perfect for parties and are enjoyed by guests of all ages! They’re so good that I decided to share this secret recipe with all of you!
Serving Size: Approximately 60 cups
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Refrigerate: Optional: 30-60 minutes
Ingredients:
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 4 oz goat cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 60 mini fillo baskets (pre-cooked, frozen)
- ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
Directions:
- First, remove fillo baskets from freezer and set aside to thaw.
- Use an electric mixer to whip the ricotta and goat cheeses together.
- Next, mix in the powdered sugar, cinnamon and vanilla.
- Place the filling into a large Ziploc bag and cut a small hole in the corner.
- Pipe the filling into the fillo baskets.
- Top with the mini chocolate chips.
- Optional: Place in refrigerator for 30-60 minutes if you prefer the filling to be firmer.
