BTW. After many years of delaying learning how, I knew it was time to master my mother’s Greek sweet bread, a recipe that has been handed down for generations. Having tried myself based on her recipe ( and failing miserably), this past Christmas I baked it with her in the room. One of the ingredients, as she told me, that never made it to paper was love. The bread was a success.”
