Marinated London Broil

Marinated London Broil

My marinade London Broil is a great way to enjoy a delicious dinner without breaking the bank. Allowing the meat to marinade for 24 hours will make it tender and delicious. I grilled mine and served it with some baked potatoes. Cooking this London broil in the oven is just as good, maybe better. The ingredients are pretty simple.

 

You’ll need:

  • 6 garlic cloves crushed
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups of a dry red wine
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbs dry basil

 

Directions:

  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend everything together.
  2. Put the marinade in a large zip lock bag, place the London broil in the bag and refrigerate for 24 hours.
  3. I used a hot charcoal grill and cook to a medium. Or you can place everything in a baking dish and cook in a 400 degree oven until done to your liking. 
  4. Always let the meat sit for 10 minutes before slicing. 

This is great for dinner tomorrow and the leftovers are perfect for sandwiches or over a salad.
