Daniel Mancini's Grilled Steak TacosYou will need:

Marinade

  • 4-5 garlic cloves
  • 2-tsp salt
  • 1-tsp pepper
  • 1-tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup tequila
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • 1-bunch of cilantro bottom thick part of stems chopped off
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Put all this into a food processor or blender and purée.

Steak:

  • 2- lb London Broil or Flank Steak. I used a London broil, you could also use a flank steak.
  1. Place the meat in a zip bag with the marinade and remove all the air. Place in the fridge for 4-8 hours.
  2. Grill to desired temperature, let rest and slice very thin.
  3. I also grilled some spring onions, jalapeño and red bell peppers this is not small. For this I just brushed a little olive oil, salt n pepper and grilled on a very high heat for just a couple minutes.
  4. I heated the tortillas on the grill, very easy.

It’s a very simple simple recipe to make and the flavors are amazing perfect for Cinco de Mayo!
